Define a credential type once, then issue it to a person or a whole intake. Certalyn records exactly what was issued, and freezes it.

Every credential gets a certificate, a reference and a QR code that resolves to its own verification page.

Anyone holding the certificate can check it in seconds. No account, no sign-up, no app to install.
4. Keep it current
Credentials expire on schedule, can be withdrawn, and can be replaced — with the original kept as a record rather than overwritten.
One unambiguous answer
A verifier sees a single status, stated in words as well as colour, so it survives a greyscale printout and a colour-blind reader alike.

Replaced by a newer one.
A reference that matches nothing returns a plain Not found — never a hint about whether it nearly matched, or who it might belong to.

Training providers, certification bodies, professional associations and employers who need what they issue to be checkable by someone else.
Holders
The person who earned it. They receive a certificate and a link they can pass to anyone, and they never need a Certalyn account.
Verifiers
An employer, a site manager, a client or a regulator, checking a certificate they have just been handed.
Built so the record can be trusted
- Issued credentials are frozen. Material details cannot be quietly edited afterwards. A correction is a replacement, and the original is kept.
- Every record is fingerprinted. A SHA-256 digest of what was issued is stored with it and can be recomputed at any time.
- Minimum disclosure. A verification page shows what the issuer chose to publish — never an email address, a phone number or an internal note.
- References cannot be guessed. They carry enough randomness that working through them is hopeless, so nobody can enumerate your credentials.
Certalyn confirms what an issuing organisation recorded, and whether it has since expired or been withdrawn. It does not independently certify that an issuer’s underlying claim is correct.
